No meal is complete without good warm rolls. Below is Mom's recipe. I haven't found a recipe
to beat them yet!

1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of shortening, 1 tablespoon of salt mix together in a bowl. Put 1 cup of
warm water(100 -110 degrees) in a small bowl and add 2 pkgs of yeast. Set aside. Add 2 beaten
eggs to first mixture, and 4 additional cups of warm water to ingredients then mix this well.
Add enough flour to make a fairly stiff dough, add water and yeast mixture and beat again
adding more flour if needed. Cover and put in the refrigerator over night. Take out in the
morning and knead on floured surface until dough can be rolled out and cut into rolls. roll
Dough to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick, cut in to rolls . Place in a pan which has been sprayed
with vegetable spray. Let rise approximately 2 hours, letting rise in a warm place but not hot.
Bake at 400 degrees and rub a stick of butter over the top of the rolls. Serve Hot!
