Sunday Morning Outline
“The Facts About The Resurrection”
1. The difference between Christianity and
other world religions is, you can’t go to the tomb of
the founder of Christianity, where His body is in the
ground, and worship Him there.
2. “This is the place where Jesus isn’t.”
3. Christianity without the resurrection of
Jesus isn’t just missing the last chapter; it’s
missing the whole story.
4. If the tomb is not empty, then Christianity is!
5. 3 things that we all agree on:
Number 1: We all agree that Jesus of Nazareth, this
amazing Rabbi, was crucified by the Romans.
Number 2: We all agree that the Jews took great
effort and precaution to seal His tomb. They put a
large stone in front of it, and they put guards
around it; they sealed it.
Number 3: We all agree His body is missing.
6. I believe, to be a Christian is to live by faith,
not by sight, but I don’t believe that faith means I
have to turn my brain off.
7. The first piece of evidence: The missing
body.
8. 3 theories given by the skeptic:
Number 1: The Jews and the enemies of Christ
stole his body.
Number 2: The disciples stole the body.
9. People will die for a lie, if they think it’s true,
but people don’t die for a lie when they know it’s
not true.
10. 3 theories given by the skeptic:
Number 3: The swoon theory.
11. The second piece of evidence: Christianity
itself.
12. Most doubt is not intellectual; it’s moral.
Sunday Evening Outline
“Solomon’s Reaping”
1. There’s a cost for anyone who mocks God.
2. Solomon’s problem was not one of
ignorance; it was one of defiance.
3. What did Solomon reap from his rebellious
heart?
~First of all, his defiance jeopardized his dynasty.
4. What did Solomon’s name mean? Peace
5. God’s plan was for David’s family to rule for
generations over the twelve tribes of Israel, and in
just one generation, Solomon forfeited the dream.
6. What did Solomon reap from his rebellious
heart?
~Secondly, his defiance minimized his legacy.
7. Solomon is a warning to us that you can
start so well, but finish so poorly, if you don’t guard
your heart.
